The Northwest is a residential neighborhood, as the name implies, in the northwest section of South Bend. The triangular shaped area reaches into the center of downtown and spreads out to include some of the most historic neighborhoods of the City.

The St. Joseph River winds along our northeastern border. It has been a desirable residential area since it was first developed, well over 100 years ago.
